Tallit Katan Wool w/Techelet - Wool Tzitzits w/Blue Fringe

Starting at: $59.95

This is a traditional woolen Tallit Katan - the small tallis worn throughout the day by orthodox Jews with a special twist...

This tallis katan comes with Techeles Tzitzit, with biblical blue string fringe-knots, according to rediscovered tradition by the Radzyner Rebbe and the rulings of the rabbis of Breslov chassidus (the Murex alternative is available by special request, at additional cost).

This product includes tzitzis that are specially thick and specially long (others available with thin/regular). This is a particularly appropriate choice for those who are active, have trouble with tzitzis string breakage, or who make a point of wearing their tallis katan under their shirt but wearing their strings out.

There are multiple ways to tie techeles tzitzis. This product follows the Radzyner (identical to the Chabad white) method, which is the preferred method for Breslever chassidim and many others who wear techeles tzitzit (other methods available by request).

The tzitzis (fringe knots) are tied by chassidic Jews in Meah Shearim, Israel, specifically with the intention of the mitzvah!!!

Pictured here (additional photos below!) is the garment, the full fringe strings, a close up of the fringe-string-knots, and the kosher certification.

This garment is certified kosher to the highest orthodox Jewish religious standards by the Badatz Yerushalayim - Eidet Charedit.

The blue dye is produced by hand via the process described in the Gemora (Talmud) and rediscovered through generations of research. This intense labor and small industry result in a rather high price for the blue-dyed string to meet the mitzvah requirements of techeles. The blue dye is colorfast and should not run or fade with normal delicate care washings and should last many years. (It will bleach out, do not bleach!)

The beged - the wool garment is a high quality standard thickness wool that should last many years with regular care.
