Kosher Scarlet Thread (Red String)

The Scarlet Thread of Hope - Following the ancient custom practiced to this day in the Land of Israel, a scarlet thread is wrapped around the tomb of our matriarch Rochel (wrapped around the tomb 7 times). Traditionally this thread is worn around the wrist with prayers for health, safety and success.

It is also considered a form of protection and prevention of an ayin hara.

Many a "red string" or "kabbalah string" are sold. This thread is the basis of that trend. The difference here is, this thread truly is wrapped around the tomb of Rachel, is done so with the intention of protection, and done by a Breslever chossid.
